Welcome
The 2008/09 season is my eleventh at Tranmere and I'm delighted that the
club has granted me a testimonial to celebrate this. This website will
be updated regularly with information on the testimonial match, due to take
place on Monday 30th March, 2009 as well as details on other events over the
course of the season.
I hope all the supporters will enjoy the events as they will involve former Tranmere players from the last 11 years and hopefully give fans the chance to get autographs and photos with their favourite players. For more information on this, visit the Match section of the website.
Thanks,
John

GET INVOLVED! - We will shortly be publishing details of some
auctions that will give fans the chance to get involved on John's big night.
The Testimonial Match on Monday 31st March will of course feature the Heroes Match before the main game. This will be a 20 minute each-way game between members of the Wembley 2000 team and some of the many players to have played alongside John during his ten years at Prenton Park. Auctions will soon be launched giving fans the chance to bid for a place on one of these two teams.
The lucky winners will not only get to rub shoulders with some of the biggest names in the clubs recent history, but to also step out on the hallowed turf and play alongside them. More information coming soon.
In addition, we will also be running two auctions to become mascots for the main Tranmere vs Everton Testimonial Match - one for Tranmere, and one for Everton. More details available shortly.
